We are facing a dangerous EU summit

“Today, we’re heading for Copenhagen. We’ll have to keep our wits about us. We’re facing a dangerous EU summit. There will be a cage fight,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on his Facebook account on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister explained: According to the President of the European Commission, “Europe is at war.” He added that the Polish Prime Minister said “we must admit that the Russo-Ukrainian war is our war.” While on Tuesday, the Swedish Prime Minister said “pressure must be increased on Hungary to make progress on Ukraine’s EU membership.”

Ominous signs. Europe is heading fast for war, Mr Orbán wrote, stressing that the Hungarian reality is that in our neighbour’s territory, they are not waging our war. “There is no European unity on the issue of Ukraine’s EU membership, and there cannot be without us. The Hungarian people’s money will not be sent to Ukraine. Surely not as long as Hungary has a national government,” the Prime Minister wrote in his post.
