Tisza’s austerity package released

Tisza’s austerity package has been released. All 600 pages. “I saw one good thing in it: it only exists on paper. If it’s up to us, that’s where it will stay,” the Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook account on Tuesday.

Mr Orbán observed that we were faced with a through-and-through left-wing austerity package. “It’s no surprise. If left-wing experts work for a political party, if actors and musicians support a party, if a party’s most important supporters are the left-wing media and the Brussels left-wing political elite, they can’t pursue any other policy, only a left-wing one,” he wrote.

He added: And if a party is left-wing, that means tax increases, progressive taxation, the pillaging of businesses, and property investigations; HUF 1,300 billion to be taken away from Hungarian families, and HUF 3,700 billion to be taken away from Hungarian businesses.

“We have much to do yet until next April. For instance, we must return these 600 pages to where they belong, the left-wing dump of Hungarian history,” Mr Orbán wrote.
