Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s official visit to Georgia has begun 

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was received at the airport of the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi with a guard of honour. This marked the start of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s three-day official visit to the Caucasian country, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

On Tuesday afternoon, Mr Orbán and his wife Anikó Lévai visited the Shavnabada Monastery which is one of Georgia’s authentic Christian building complexes. 

After the church service, they attended an informal dinner in the company of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his wife, Mr Havasi reported, adding that on Wednesday and Thursday Mr Orbán’s programme in Tbilisi will continue with events of the joint meeting of the Hungarian and Georgian governments.
