French-Hungarian summit: Hungary is pro-peace and will remain so

On Monday evening in Paris, in addition to current topics of bilateral relations, French President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also spoke about the most important issues concerning the future of Europe, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Tuesday.

According to his communication, in the context of the Ukrainian-Russian war, the Prime Minister made it clear that Hungary continues to urge an immediate ceasefire and peace talks. Mr Orbán pointed out that ever since the beginning of the war, Hungary has been pro-peace and will remain so also in the future.
