Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to be received by Pope Leo XIV

On Monday, in the company of Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will pay a visit to the Vatican City State and Rome in the Italian Republic, the Communications Division of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

During the visit Pope Leo XIV will receive the Hungarian Prime Minister as part of a private audience, following which Mr Orbán will have talks with Secretary of State of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher.

In Rome, the Prime Minister will conduct a working meeting with Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni, and will also meet with Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta Fra’ John Timothy Dunlap.
