Changes are coming, whether we want them or not

Changes are coming, whether we want them or not. The question is what answers we are giving. Brussels answers or Hungarian answers? This is what the future of our country depends on, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

“What days! Russian drones were shot down in Poland’s airspace. The President of the Commission, who is, in actual fact, an employee of the Member States, delivered a veritable pro-war political speech. The word ‘Ukraine’ was uttered as many as 35 times. She threatened everyone. Those who refuse to join the Brussels flock will be stripped of all EU funds,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Mr Orbán added: We responded. In the afternoon, we submitted the Patriots’ motion of no confidence: von der Leyen must go. “Formidable challenges, cutthroat debates. Changes are coming, whether we want them or not. The question is what answers we’re giving. Brussels answers or Hungarian answers? This is what the future of our country depends on. A competitive, independent, pro-family, peaceful and secure Hungary. Or as proposed by the Hungarian parties Tisza and [Democratic Coalition] DK paid from and controlled by Brussels: an over-taxed, pro-migrant, pro-war and pro-Ukraine Hungary controlled from Brussels,” the Prime Minister wrote.

The formula is becoming ever clearer, Mr Orbán wrote, concluding his post.
