Pact concluded between Brussels and Tisza Party

The Tisza Party said yes to Ukraine’s EU membership: the pact between Brussels and the Tisza Party is now concluded, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video posted on his Facebook account on Monday, commenting on the Tisza Party’s Sunday announcement, according to which 58.18 per cent of respondents said ‘yes’ to Ukraine’s EU membership in their initiative ‘Voice of the Nation.’

Mr Orbán said “yesterday, we were finally left in no doubt.” “Brussels wants to help the pro-Ukraine Tisza Party into power in Hungary, in return for which Tisza supports Ukraine’s EU membership,” the Prime Minister stated, highlighting that this would destroy the Hungarian economy.

Mr Orbán called upon members of the nation: “We must not allow the Tisza Party to hand over Hungary’s future to Brussels in exchange for power. We must not allow them to decide for us. Cast your vote now in Vote2025. Let us decide ourselves.”
