Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to travel to Serbia

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will attend a meeting of the Council for Hungarian-Serbian Strategic Cooperation in Palics (Palic), Vojvodina (Serbia) in the company of President of the Republic Katalin Novák, Serbian head of State Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister confirmed Serbian press reports to the Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday.

Hungary and Serbia’s strategic partnership and friendship greatly contribute to the fact that Hungary is better-equipped to handle the unprecedented challenges it is facing, with special regard to the Russo-Ukrainian war, the economic crisis brought on by the sanctions, illegal immigration and energy security, the press chief reported.

Also confirming news reports regarding the Hungarian Prime Minister’s upcoming talks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Havasi said on Thursday Mr Orbán will travel to Sarajevo and later on to Banja Luka on an official visit.
