Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered North Macedonian party help with preparations for government

On Thursday in Bled, Slovenia, Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán and President of the North Macedonian VMRO-DPMNE party Hristijan Mickoski had talks, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

The parties confirmed that political cooperation between Fidesz and VMRO-DPMNE has been excellent for years both in bilateral relations and on the international scene.

With regard to the upcoming elections in North Macedonia, at the talks held in Bled, the parties agreed that politicians of the Hungarian government party would provide policy help for the candidates of the North Macedonian sister party in preparation for government, Mr Havasi reported.
