In his video, Mr Orbán recalled that on Tuesday the Hungarian Parliament had debated Europe’s largest tax reduction programme which – he said – “we will implement here in Hungary.”
“We will introduce lifelong personal income tax exemption for mothers with two and three children,” he added.
The Prime Minister also said that on Tuesday the government held a cabinet meeting at which they reviewed what impact the tariff war that had broken out in the interim could have on the plans.
“Hungary is prepared for all eventualities, we will not allow the tariff war to divert us off the track of tax cuts,” the Prime Minister pointed out.
Mr Orbán stated that “we will introduce personal income tax benefits for mothers and will implement Europe’s largest tax reduction programme because Hungary can do it.”
