We have a vested interest in Suzuki’s success

On Monday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with President-Representative Director of Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation Toshihiro Suzuki, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the meeting, the parties reviewed the situation of the European and Hungarian automotive industry and the challenges of the current technological transition. The Prime Minister said we have a vested interest in Suzuki’s success; the relationship between Hungarians and Suzuki is now more than business, it is friendship.

Regarding the situation of the Hungarian economy, Mr Orbán said the economy will grow both this year and next year; credit rating agencies, investors, Hungarian businesses and the Hungarian people equally have faith in Hungary. Meaning that we are optimistic. At the same time, the war is posing a very great danger, and in this regard the situation is extremely difficult, given that war ruins not only human lives, families and property, but also entire economies.
