We don’t want our children to be sent to the Ukrainian front and to return in coffins

“We don’t want our children to be sent to the Ukrainian front and to return in coffins,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on Monday in a video he shared on his social media account.

The video starts with a statement by former chief-of-staff-now expert of the Tisza Party Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz in which he said “if Ukraine were a member of the EU or NATO, it would be legitimate for our forces to go in there.”

In the video, Mr Orbán said “we don’t want our children to be sent to the Ukrainian fronts in the form of the Hungarian army or to even be deployed in Ukrainian territory, and to return from there in coffins.” “Click now, say no, vote on the voks2025.hu website,” the video appeals to members of the electorate.
