US President Donald Trump announced a few minutes earlier on his Truth Social social media account that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest after they had spoken on the telephone.
Donald Trump described the conversation as very productive; during the phone call they agreed on the Budapest venue as well as on further high-level US-Russian preparatory meetings.
