We agreed on strengthening of Hungarian-Chinese relations already back in 2009

At the end of his three-day visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping and his spouse Peng Liyuan attended a joint lunch with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his wife Anikó Lévai at the restaurant Vertu in Budapest, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday.

Mr Orbán recalled that already in 2009 in Beijing – when President Xi was vice president of China and he was the leader of the Hungarian opposition – they agreed that they would strengthen Hungarian-Chinese relations. Now, 15 years later, they signed 18 agreements, and also identified new plans and new goals.
