Describing this as an inordinate sum, Mr Orbán observed that this was almost four times the annual Hungarian GDP.
“This is why the Brusselites wanted to confiscate the frozen Russian assets in December, and this is why they want to rearrange the next EU budget in its very foundations. The Ukrainian dumpling wants to be fed,” the Prime Minister wrote.
He added that they had also found an ally in Hungary for financing the Brussels plan: Tisza’s MEPs voted for comprehensive and unconditional financial support for Ukraine.
“This was the price of the Brussels tailwind and immunity. They’re denying it in vain, this is what we can expect from them,” Mr Orbán wrote.
