In response to the suggestion that “yesterday, Tisza’s people said that you addressed an audience of Asians in Eger,” Mr Orbán said “there is something wrong upstairs on the other side.” He added that the Tisza Party and its supporters had been affected by the wind of defeat, “now, the Hungarians have come forward: Peace March, Kaposvár, then Eger.”
“I think they believed, they seriously believed that you can win an election in Hungary with a pro-Ukraine policy, especially if also supported by Brussels, and they can see that you can’t. It’s a bitter awakening, and at times like this, many absurd things come to the surface, we will have many good laughs in the coming days,” the Prime Minister said.
