The Prime Minister had talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and senior officials from the Ministry, and then delivered a speech to an audience of Hungarian ambassadors and consuls general. In his speech, he drew attention to the opportunities and most significant challenges of Hungarian diplomacy in light of the new US leadership, the latest developments of the Russo-Ukrainian war and the pro-war position of the European Union. The Prime Minister highlighted that Hungary’s international scope for manoeuvre had significantly expanded in the past year, and then listed the points of the programme for an economic and political breakthrough.
