Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has travelled to the Czech Republic

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will congratulate in person former President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman on his 80^thbirthday, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief confirmed Czech press reports to the Hungarian news agency MTI.

According to Czech news portals, Milos Zeman’s eightieth birthday party will be held in Hluboká nad Vltavou on Saturday evening which will be attended – in addition to the former president’s loved ones – by a number of Czech and foreign politicians. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico already arrived on Friday evening, and as expected, Slovak head of state Peter Pellegrini, Polish head of state Andrzej Duda and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will also attend the event, they reported. 

Mr Havasi said on Saturday afternoon in Ceske Budejovice, Mr Orbán had a meeting with former Czech prime Minister-President of the ANO party Andrej Babis.
