Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Prime Minister of Georgia 

On Thursday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

At the meeting, the parties reviewed possibilities for intensifying political cooperation between Hungary and Georgia as well as the status of Georgia’s EU integration process in light of the opportunities for progress offered by Hungary’s upcoming EU presidency. 

At the meeting, the parties also spoke about energy cooperation, including Georgia’s role in the development of an energy corridor connecting the Caucasian region with Europe, Mr Havasi reported.
