On Wednesday afternoon in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán had talks with Marine Le Pen, the National Rally’s group leader in the National Assembly of France, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the meeting, the parties reviewed the situation of the strengthening European Right, with special regard to next year’s elections in the European Parliament.

The continent’s national, conservative parties must give a common and robust answer to Brussels’ imperial ambitions, flawed economic policy and pro-migrant initiatives, the parties laid down at the meeting.

At the meeting, the parties also spoke about the political representation of families as well as national and Christian values which are in the focus of the activities of both the Hungarian government parties and the French National Rally, Mr Havasi reported.
