President of France Macron to have talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán about topics of EU summit, including Ukraine, the Middle-East situation and the enlargement of the EU 

On Thursday in the Élysée Palace in Paris, French President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron will have talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as part of a working dinner, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief confirmed news reports to the Hungarian news agency MTI. The office of the French head of state has since published the items on the agenda planned to be covered. 

According to the communication sent by the Élysée Palace to the press, the two leaders will discuss a variety of topics featured on the agenda of the meeting of the European Council due to be held on 14 and 15 December, including aspects of the assistance provided for Ukraine, the Middle-East situation as well as issues related to enlargement and the reform of the European Union. Topics will further include EU security and defence issues and the review of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework.
