Mr Orbán said “this is a fantastic result, it’s perhaps even beyond expectations,” and then called upon everyone to cast their votes if they have not yet done so.
“There is ever greater pressure in Brussels, we’re finding it ever more difficult to protect Hungary’s interests, they want to push the Ukrainians into the European Union,” the Prime Minister said.
He added that if we wanted to protect the livelihoods of our families, if we wanted to protect our farmers and the reduction of household energy bills, then we needed to state our opinion.
“Please cast your votes,” the Prime Minister encouraged members of the electorate.
