Hungary and Slovenia can count on each other

On Wednesday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received President of Slovenia Natasa Pirc Musar, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

The Prime Minister said as good neighbours Hungary and Slovenia can always count on each other, and relations between citizens and economic actors of the two countries are robust. At the same time, the Hungarian and Slovenian national minorities play a bridge role between the two countries.

The Hungarian Prime Minister and the Slovenian head of state exchanged views on the European security situation, including above all the war in Ukraine and the chances for promoting the cause of peace. They both described the enlargement of the European Union in the Western Balkans as an issue of the highest priority, Mr Havasi reported.
