Hungarian-French summit in Paris has started

In Paris talks between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron have begun, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday evening.

A working dinner will be held in the Élysée Palace; President Macron received the Hungarian Prime Minister in the courtyard of the palace just after half past eight in the evening before members of the press, Mr Havasi reported.

According to official French reports, at the meeting the parties will discuss topical European affairs, including the Russo-Ukrainian war and the support provided for Ukraine, the enhancement of European competitiveness, energy security issues and the development of the European defence industry.
