Government’s national security cabinet convened to evaluate situation in the Middle East 

On Tuesday evening in Geszt – the venue of the cabinet meeting in the countryside – the government’s national security cabinet was convened for a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

The body comprised of ministers concerned with defence affairs and the senior advisor for national security reviewed the developments and possible consequences of the war situation that has developed in the Middle East. They also heard a report about the security situation of Hungary and Hungarian citizens in the region, Mr Havasi reported.
