Filling your tank is cheaper with protected prices

What is 20,000 with the protected price is “25,000 with the Tisza price.” “That’s the Tisza energy plan at filling stations. Let’s say no to it on 12 April,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in conjunction with a video he posted on Facebook on Tuesday.

In the video, the Prime Minister says he is going to fill up his car to see whether the protected prices work. After filling his tank, he said he should pay HUF 25,864, but with the protected price he saved HUF 5,575. The market price is HUF 784 per litre, “that’s the Tisza price,” he said.

Fidesz is the safe choice, Mr Orbán added in writing to his video.
