Efforts made for peace and negotiating process initiated by President Trump must be continued

The efforts made for peace and the negotiating process initiated by President Trump must be continued, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in a post he published on Facebook after the Thursday cabinet meeting.

Mr Orbán wrote that at today’s cabinet meeting, members of the government reviewed the consequences of the missile attack on Munkács (Mukachevo).

“I instructed the Interior Minister to prepare the Debrecen and Nyíregyháza hospitals for receiving the injured. Thank God, it wasn’t required,” the Prime Minister added.

The Prime Minister wrote: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó consulted with the representatives of the Hungarians of Transcarpathia to whom we also offered the assistance of the Hungarian government.

“The efforts made for peace and the negotiating process initiated by President Trump must be continued. Peace, only peace” Mr Orbán wrote, concluding his post.
