In a video extract posted on the Prime Minister’s Facebook page, Mr Trump says “Hungary,” and then looking around, asks the question: “Where is Viktor?” He added: “We love Viktor.”
Addressing the Hungarian Prime Minister, he said: “You are fantastic. I know a lot of people don’t agree with me, but I’m the only one that matters,” the US President observed, at whose invitation Mr Orbán attended the signing of the Middle East peace agreement in Egypt on Monday.
Speaking about the Hungarian Prime Minister, Mr Trump said in continuation that he is a great leader. He added that he had endorsed him in the previous elections, “and he won by 28 points. So, you’re going to do even better this time. If you have another election, you’re going to do great, and we appreciate it. And we’re behind you one hundred per cent,” the US President said.
Mr Orbán added to the footage: “Thank you, Mr President. We’ll continue on the path of peace.”
