County government commissioners should treat people as partners

Budapest, Monday, 18 September 2023 (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received newly appointed county government commissioners (László Salgó from Csongrád-Csanád county, and Gábor Tanárki from Fejér county) in the Carmelite Monastery Monday morning, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press officer told the national news agency MTI.

The briefing was also attended by Gergely Gulyás, Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office, and István György, State Secretary for regional public administration.

According to Mr. Orbán, his government has repeatedly proven its ability to respond to challenges in difficult times. In the current period, too, the government does the utmost to protect families, jobs, and the economy.

County government commissioners are office leaders, but they should not adopt an authority’s attitude. Instead, they should treat people and their cases in the spirit of partnership, Bertalan Havasi quoted the Prime Minister.
