Mr Orbán wrote: according to the authorities, the leader of the Tisza Party committed a common crime in Hungary (theft) and should therefore face the consequences before the courts, but Brussels does not allow this to happen. His masters in Brussels, led by the European People’s Party and Manfred Weber, have taken him under their wings, he is now in their pocket, and what happens to him only depends on them.
“They’re blackmailing him. He’s in their pocket,” he wrote. “They intend him as leader of Hungary, so that – in order to return the favour – he should implement Brussels’ programme in Hungary. Migrants in, bank and multinational taxes out, reduction of household energy bills history, family support history, war, here we go, Ukraine can join the EU. This is the Brussels master plan, and Péter Magyar is the selected and blackmailed person to implement it. We shouldn’t fall for this scam,” Mr Orbán wrote on his social media page.
