For the first time in European history, and right here in Budapest, representatives of patriotic parties are gathering to stand up for the nations of Europe and for European freedom in a joint declaration.

How many times in recent years have we heard that the Hungarian government is isolated in its foreign policy? There are those who say that we – including me – are fighting a losing battle against the Brussels elite.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is mistaken! We have clear goals and clear plans, and a clear roadmap that will help us achieve our goals. This is why our guests are here with us today.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We make no secret of these goals. We speak openly about our desire to take control of the European Union. We want to take over and transform the Brussels centre. We want a union that is an alliance of sovereign nations. We do not want a federation. We do not want an “ever closer union”. We want sovereign, proud European nations. We want, by the end of the decade, all of Europe to be proudly clad in national and conservative colours. This will be the greatest political realignment in the history of the European Union. In three years’ time the people you have seen here today will be the leaders of the European Union.
Dear People of Budapest,
Indeed we are fighting for the soul of Europe. This battle is being waged on many fronts: in universities, in academic institutions, in churches, in trade unions, and in local communities. And we, Dear Friends, are working on the political front lines of this great battle. We – everyone you have seen here on this stage – are politicians who trust in our own people. No matter where in the world we live, we are each advancing the cause of our own nation, and we are accountable only to our own voters: for us, for each of us, our own nation comes first. We used to think that this divided us. We believed that a European organisation of nationalist forces made no sense, that it was a pipe dream; but since then we have learned better. We have realised that if we want to defeat the progressive globalists, then we nationalists must also organise ourselves within an international framework. The geographical distances between our peoples is vast. Our historical experiences could not be more different. Yet we are united by a conviction: the belief that Europe can only succeed through the cooperation of free and sovereign nations.
Dear Friends,
I would like to share a few thoughts with you about the political situation in Europe. The political situation in Europe is at a standstill. The Patriots were formed in 2024; we challenged the mainstream elite, and this struggle has resulted in a stalemate. The failures of the liberal, globalist elite in Brussels are obvious: economic collapse, a declining industrial sector, the total failure of the Green Deal, an irreversible migration crisis, and an energy crisis. The left-wing elite in Brussels is growing weaker by the day. On the other side, there is us: the growing camp of patriots. We are gaining strength in Central Europe. One of our founders , Andrej Babiš, is Prime Minister again today. The Polish president, who will arrive here in Hungary in a matter of minutes, is a Patriot. And the Slovak and Hungarian sovereigntists are growing stronger – as are the Patriots in the candidate countries. But the Left, which governs Europe, is still capable of preventing the Patriots’ breakthrough in Western Europe. Despite its massive failures, Brussels still dominates the western half of Europe. Italy is performing fantastically, and the Right is impressive. Matteo Salvini is the Patriots’ strongest force in government in Western Europe, but they are being forced into constant compromises with Brussels. Marine Le Pen’s party is growing stronger, and they can only be kept in check through anti-democratic measures and blatant violations of the law – but the “cordon sanitaire” remains effective. Germany is once again the sick man of Europe, but voters have not yet resolved to completely renew German politics. The resurgence in Austria is fantastic, but we still have to wait for an FPÖ government and for Chairman Kickl to become Chancellor. Without success in Austria, however, the rise of the Patriots in Central Europe is not yet secure, as the left-wing ancien régime is constantly trying to return to power. Only a victory by the Austrians and by Mr. Kickl can make the Patriots’ advance in Central Europe irreversible. Our group in the European Parliament is performing tremendously. They are here too. You are the first true opposition, the first group capable of standing up to the mainstream. Hats off to you, congratulations! In our European group we are learning the art of cooperation. This will be vital knowledge when we come to govern the institutions in Brussels.

We are the only group in the European Parliament that – without compromises or tactical concessions, and rejecting toxic Brusselite Eurobabble – says what it thinks and does what is in the interest of the European people. We are already Europe’s leading force – not yet in terms of size, but in terms of common sense and loyalty to our peoples.
My Dear Friends,
Since this is part of the Hungarian campaign, and a key element of our decision regarding the future, we all know that the Brusselite Left wants to fast-track Ukraine’s accession to the EU. That cannot happen! It would bring war into the European Union. It would be a betrayal of European farmers and the European people. Ukraine’s membership would place an unbearable financial burden on the shoulders of the Member States. The situation is already dire: the EU does not even have enough money for itself, yet it is taking out loans worth hundreds of billions of euros for Ukraine’s sake, thereby dragging the Member States into a debt spiral. If we allow this, even our children will bear the burden. Amid such dangers, Europe needs patriotic leaders more than ever. We must stand up for the interests of the European people and our nations. Voters want peace and security, affordable prices and cheap energy, a predictable life, and steady growth. We, as Patriots, must fight for this. We must say no to the misguided green transition, no to sanctions, no to migration, no to war, and no to Ukraine’s membership. This is the only way we can save Europe.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
And for all this, we need a roadmap. Elections are coming up this week in Denmark. We are rooting for our friend Morten Messerschmidt and the Danish People’s Party. Then it will be our turn. We will have an election here in just under three weeks. Massive forces have mobilised across Europe against the patriotic Hungarian government. Brussels and Kiev/Kyiv have joined forces, because they want a government in Budapest that represents their interests. Brussels has deployed a network of NGOs to censor the internet, while Kiev/Kyiv has imposed an oil blockade on the Hungarians – and now you can see that the Ukrainian propaganda machine is also working at full steam. Despite this, we will win the election in Hungary on 12 April. And there will be elections this year in Bulgaria, Estonia, Sweden and Latvia – and next year in France and Italy. Before the European Parliament elections a new parliament will be elected in Romania – and the same is likely in Germany as well.

We will surge ahead everywhere. When we arrive at the 2029 European elections we will have the upper hand. Then we will win the battle being fought for the soul of Europe and the future of our nations, and together we will make Europe great again.
God above us all, Hungary before all else! Go, Hungary! Go, Hungarians! On to victory!
