Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said thank you to blood donors

On Thursday, on the Day of Hungarian Blood Donors, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said thank you to blood donors in a letter.

“Dear Blood Donor, Hungary’s patriotic government is committed to the protection of human life. This responsibility is manifested not only in words, but also in deeds: in the respect for and appreciation of blood donors who all contribute to giving our compatriots in trouble a new chance of life,” the letter which Senior Advisor for the Prime Minister Zsolt Nyitrai posted on his Facebook account reads.

According to the document, “Those who give blood indeed save lives; this is why one of the most beautiful and uplifting moments in life for a blood donor is when they receive the message +We have used your blood+. This brief sentence conveys all at once the joy of selfless help, the feeling of gratitude and the strength of belonging together.”

“Please allow me to say thank you to you and to all blood donors on the Day of Hungarian Blood Donors. I sincerely hope that seeing the good example you set, young compatriots in the largest possible numbers will join this noble community,” the Prime Minister’s letter reads.
