In the video posted on his Facebook account, the Prime Minister said “the opposition is such that they wire themselves together and relabel themselves,” but they are effectively the same. This is a major force supported by Brussels because Brussels is behind them, and in order to win we will need everyone, he stressed.
Mr Orbán added that everyone primarily focused on the elections, but in his view the war took precedence over all other issues.
“And we believe that one of the key issues – naturally, we’ll have to say this in January – that sets the two political communities apart, ours, the Right and the other, the Left, is the way we relate to the war,” Mr Orbán said, adding that Brussels will push everyone into the war who allows themselves to be pushed in. Wherever there are pro-Brussels government, they are pushed in. We have a patriotic government, and if we continue to have one, we will not be pushed in, the Prime Minister stated.
Mr Orbán asked the attendees of the signature collection the question: “And how do you think it will be? Will we win?” They shouted ever more loudly “we will win.”
The Prime Minister attended the Vácrátót signature collection in the company of Member of Parliament for the Pest County settlement Bence Rétvári. He recalled that in the last election campaign “I came to Vác to knock on doors together with Bence, and Bence won. I saw the latest surveys the day before yesterday, I told him not to check them out because he would feel overly confident.”
Mr Orbán said “I ask you – now I can change from the war to the elections – to carry on working hard until the very end.” “Meaning, that whatever numbers come out suggesting that Bence is doing very well, even when there is almost a halo above his head, it doesn’t matter, you must carry on working hard until the very end,” the Prime Minister stressed.
