With reference to an earlier speech by Tisza Party MEP Kinga Kollár, Mr Orbán said “when I take a good look [at what an MEP called Kinga Kollár says,] what I hear is something that even Ferenc Gyurcsány could have said. It’s irrelevant that one is the old opposition, the other one is the new opposition.”
The Prime Minister said “we got up this morning, and started working. We worked in order for our family, our country to prosper, in order for our community of colleagues to be fine. We worked in order for Hungary to succeed.”
“Kinga Kollár and the others from Tisza got up in Brussels this morning, and for 7, 8, 9 million forints a month they continually work – also today – God only knows how many hours a day to make things worse for us. For Hungary to become a failed country, in order for us not to succeed, in order for us together not to be able to refurbish hospitals, not to be able to improve the standard of public services, not to be able to build roads,” Mr Orbán said, observing that “this is what they worked for all day today. These are our compatriots in Brussels.”
“As far as I can see, also today we’re up against the same people as before, except their party is called something different now,” the Prime Minister stated.
