Mr Orbán added that the first summit of the European Union since the inauguration of President Trump had been held on Monday in Brussels. “It was a strange meeting. In Brussels, everyone can see that the Trump tornado is coming, but most of them still believe that they can get away. They won’t,” the Prime Minister wrote.
He added that in just 14 days, with a handful of measures, Donald Trump had turned the world upside down. “In America, the gender madness is over, the funding of globalist Soros organisations is over, illegal migration is over, and the financing of the Russo-Ukrainian war, too, is over. Meaning that everything that the Brussels bureaucrats have tried to push down our throats in recent years is over,” he wrote in his post.
“But there is something else here as well. We can also wave goodbye to the rules of world trade as we have known them so far. President Trump will stand up for America’s interests, even against Europe. The European Union is facing difficult months and the Brussels bureaucrats, too, have tough months ahead of them,” he warned.
We must conclude an agreement, a deal so that we can preserve our economic relations with the United States. Only those are able to conclude good deals who don’t just know, but also respect one another, the Prime Minister stressed.
