Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to have talks in Berlin

On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is travelling to the German capital where he will attend the 10th summit of the Berlin Process, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Hungary has been invited to the summit again with regard to its influence in the Western Balkans and the Hungarian EU presidency.

The Berlin Process was set up by Germany in 2014 to strengthen cooperation among the countries of the Western Balkans region, also with a view to promoting the EU’s enlargement, to maintain the dynamic of the integration process, and to prevent the continued intensification of Euroscepticism in the region.

On Monday, the Hungarian Prime Minister will also conduct bilateral talks with the heads of multiple states attending the summit, Mr Havasi reported.
