Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has taken over rotating EU presidency 

On Monday in Brussels, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

As part of the meeting, the Hungarian Prime Minister officially took over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union for the next six months. 

After the meeting, together with President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok, Mr Orbán visited the recently refurbished building of the Hungarian House in Brussels which will from now on serve as a priority venue of presidency programmes.
