On 9 June we could stop the march to war

At the invitation of President of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (RMDSZ) Hunor Kelemen, on Monday afternoon, Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán continued his campaign trail in Nagyszalonta, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Mr Orbán had talks with leaders of the Alliance as well as with its local candidates, while later, before an audience of Nagyszalonta residents he said Brussels is marching into the war “at a mind-numbing speed.” But all the power and money of the pro-war forces are in vain if peace-loving people prove to be in the majority in the European elections, the Prime Minister said. He added that “let us – we Hungarians on whichever side of the border we may live – vote for the pro-peace forces because on 9 June we could still stop the march to war.”
