Vote 2024 – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s campaign trail continued in the capital 

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán continued his campaign trail in Budapest. At noon on Wednesday at Batthyány tér, he helped Alexandra Szentkirályi, Fidesz-KDNP’s candidate for Mayor of Budapest to collect signatures from supporters, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

“Alexandra is making good progress, I have seen the numbers,” said the President of Fidesz, talking to members of the electorate. 

In his opinion, what was once Gergely Karácsony’s advantage “has become a disadvantage by now, namely that he has done nothing.” Mr Orbán pointed out that Alexandra Szentkirályi wants to work for the city, wants to do something, hence the great contrast.
