Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with President of Bulgaria

On Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev in Antalya, Turkey, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy, the parties reviewed Hungarian-Bulgarian economic relations, with special regard to the issue of energy security.

The parties voiced concerns due to the possible escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian war, instead of which they urged a ceasefire and peace talks, firmly rejecting the latest proposals about sending European military personnel to Ukraine, the press chief reported.
