Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated Azeri president on his election victory 

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks on the telephone with Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s re-elected president on Wednesday evening, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

The Hungarian Prime Minister congratulated Mr Aliyev on the “enormous and indisputable victory” he scored in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. 

He said he looks forward to further strengthening cooperation between Hungary and Azerbaijan as well as between Azerbaijan and the European Union during Hungary’s EU presidency.
