Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is having talks in Turkmenistan

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán left for Ashgabat to pay an official visit at the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Members of the Hungarian delegation include Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Culture and Innovation János Csák, Minister for Energy Csaba Lantos and Minister for Economic Development Márton Nagy.

On Thursday evening, Mr Orbán will attend a working dinner in the company of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan.

A plenary meeting between Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow will be held on Friday which will be followed by the signing of cooperation agreements and joint press statements, Mr Havasi reported, outlining the planned programme.
