Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received conservative members of Council of Europe

On Friday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received members of the European Conservatives Group and Democratic Alliance (EC/DA) of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Members of the group are coming to Hungary to attend a seminar in Budapest.

This is the first time since the end of the coronavirus pandemic that the group has organised an official event abroad, and it is symbolic that Budapest was chosen as its venue.

The event will last for two days. In addition to cultural programmes, attendees will conduct panel discussions about topics such as the challenges faced by traditional European families, the future of Europe and right-wing parties, and migration.
