Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to travel to Turkey

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will travel to Ankara, the capital of Turkey, to attend the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Wednesday.

At the initiative of Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, on Thursday, the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Hungary will hold an extraordinary summit, the most important topics of which will include the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria in February and the management of its humanitarian consequences.

According to Mr Havasi’s information, on the day of the summit, Mr Orbán will also hold bilateral talks with the presidents of several Turkic Member States.
