“Those who want peace should join us. Győr-Moson-Sopron County is next. We’ll see you on 15 November,” the Prime Minister wrote.
In a video enclosed with the post, the Prime Minister highlighted: “The Peace March was a fantastic success. A vast number of our supporters stood up against war and for peace. I’d like to thank everyone who was there.” He added that the threat of the escalation of the war was greater today than ever before; the Europeans want to go to war.
“We are Europeans, but we don’t want to go to war. The Hungarians won’t go to war. We are against the war, and therefore, the digital civic circles have launched a series of anti-war rallies, a roadshow,” the Prime Minister said.
“The first station of the roadshow will be in Győr-Moson-Sopron County, in the City of Győr, we’ll hold an anti-war rally there. Everyone is welcome, let’s tell and let’s show the world: Hungary does not want war. The Hungarians are on the side of peace,” Mr Orbán said.
At the beginning of the video, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said that naturally, he will be there at the event.
