In a video added to the post, the Prime Minister said they concluded the day in the Teve utca headquarters of the police. “I convened leaders responsible for law enforcement because the indirect impacts of the Iran-Israel war could also reach Hungary, and additionally, the situation is heading in a bad direction,” Mr Orbán said.
The Prime Minister added that Iranian air attacks were ongoing against US bases in Qatar and Iraq. With this, another two countries have entered the conflict which is bad news.
“We should expect an increased threat of terrorism, and so I have instated extraordinary security measures. We will defend the security of families and the country’s peace,” Mr Orbán stated in the video.
