In the video published with the post, Mr Orbán called government spokesperson-Member of Parliament for the constituency Eszter Vitályos who explained that the man was in theory being interviewed as they spoke as he had been at the police station for an hour and a half. Regarding the incident, she told the Prime Minister: a man spoke to the volunteer via the intercom, telling him that he would let him in in a minute, and then leaning out of the window, he shot at the volunteer who was not hurt.
Mr Orbán then also spoke to the volunteer whom he thanked for his work as an activist.
“Did you see who shot at you or were you able to identify him?” the Prime Minister asked the volunteer.
The man said he had not seen much. “He started shouting, by then I had started running, and then came the bang,” he told Mr Orbán who advised the activist to make sure that there was no fear left in him.
