The Prime Minister checked in from the place where the ballot papers of the Vote2025 opinion vote on Ukraine’s European Union accession are being collected.
“Our colleagues worked all weekend, I’d like to thank them. Ballot papers will keep arriving also tomorrow; they will be certified by a notary public,” the Prime Minister said in the video.
Mr Orbán added that they would be able to release the results in the second half of the week. “I can already tell you that the number of paper-based votes received has exceeded 2 million; to be precise, the count currently stands at 2 million 13 thousand, plus the almost a quarter of a million online votes,” the Prime Minister said, listing the results to date.
“We can all be proud of this. I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the vote,” Mr Orbán said, concluding his video.
