Ukraine is requesting a sum for next ten years that would be enough to pay Hungarian pensions for 40 years or totality of family support for 60 years

Ukraine is asking for a sum of money for the next ten years that would be enough to pay Hungarian pensions for 40 years or the totality of family support for 60 years, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on Facebook on Thursday morning.

“That is how much the 800 billion dollars is that the Ukrainian prime minister wants to obtain from Brussels. And they from us,” the Prime Minister posted.

He wrote that at the Wednesday cabinet meeting they heard EU minister János Bóka’s report on how the Brusselites would distribute this USD 800 billion and how they would raise the necessary funds.

“The result is quite frightening. The Brussels ukases would put an end to the thirteenth and fourteenth monthly pensions, would do away with family support, and would impose progressive income taxes on Hungarian taxpayers. All this in order to have the money to pay the Ukrainian regime,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Mr Orbán added: This is what we Hungarians don’t want any of. Mr Bóka’s report will be published because Hungarian families have a right to know what kind of a plan Brussels wants to impose on them. Then in April they can choose between the Brussels path and the path of peace.
