Satellite images prove that there is no obstacle to resumption of Druzhba crude oil pipeline

Satellite images prove that there is no technical obstacle to the resumption of the Druzhba crude oil pipeline, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on Facebook on Monday.

In the video, Mr Orbán said they will make the satellite images available so that everyone can see them.

The Prime Minister said on Monday morning, they started the day with a national security briefing: he received a detailed report on the attack on the Druzhba crude oil pipeline and the state of the pipeline.

Based on the satellite images and operational information at the government’s disposal, it is clear that the Druzhba crude oil pipeline is operational, and they also established that the attack had not directly affected the pipeline, and so there is no technical obstacle to the resumption of the operation of the pipeline, he stressed.

“We repeatedly call upon President Zelenskyy to restart the Druzhba pipeline and to let in Hungarian and Slovak inspectors in the interest of the settlement of the disputes. We will maintain our counter-measures until the Ukrainians resume oil shipments. What President Zelenskyy is doing is common blackmail against Hungary. However, Hungary will not give in, and we will break the oil blockade,” Mr Orbán said.
